Eomentesa is one of two modern dialects of Braereth, spoken primarily by witches. (The other dialect is Tenibvreth.)
The phonology is similar to Spanish or Catalan, marked by vowel lowering and unpacking of the palatal series from Classical Braereth.

Spelling Reform
While Eomentesa is traditionally spelled as classical Braereth or Tenibvreth, a recent spelling reform used by many speakers renders it quite distinct. A few differences of notes:
- Palatal ⟨j⟩ is not used. It is elided entirely after obstruents, or changes to ⟨i⟩ after sonorants.
- ⟨bv⟩ is written as ⟨b⟩.
- ⟨ou⟩ is written as ⟨o⟩ (sometimes as ⟨u⟩).
- ⟨cj⟩, ⟨ctj⟩, ⟨c⟩ before ⟨i⟩ or ⟨e⟩, ⟨tj⟩, and unvoiced ⟨tz⟩ are written as ⟨s⟩ when initial and ⟨ts⟩ otherwise.
- ⟨gj⟩, ⟨g⟩ before ⟨i⟩ or ⟨e⟩, ⟨dj⟩, and voiced ⟨tz⟩ are written as ⟨z⟩ when initial and ⟨dz⟩ otherwise.
- ⟨ei⟩ is written as ⟨e⟩ (⟨é⟩ when long).
- Some instances of ⟨u⟩ are written as ⟨o⟩, and ⟨o⟩ is always used word-finally.
- Some instances of ⟨i⟩ are written as ⟨e⟩.
- ⟨qh⟩ is elided when initial.
- Final ⟨e⟩ is elided except after consonant clusters.
- Final ⟨nje⟩ is written as ⟨ng⟩.
- Final ⟨au⟩ and ⟨aou⟩ are written as ⟨ao⟩.
- ⟨eu⟩ and final ⟨eou⟩ are written as ⟨eo⟩.
- The stress-indicator ⟨x⟩ is written as a grave accent (e.g. ⟨à⟩).
- The clusters ⟨nts⟩ and ⟨ndz⟩ (from earlier ⟨nctj⟩, ⟨ngj⟩, ⟨ntj⟩, &c) are simplified to ⟨ns⟩ and ⟨nz⟩, respectively.
- Vowels become long and are marked with an acute accent before former ⟨ct⟩ clusters.
