Europic
Pronunciation
- Europic Phonology: /fi.lo.ʧa.ʃa.mu/
Etymology
From filotcu ‘son’ + -camu ‘spouse’.
Noun
filotca-camu
- spouse of son, child-in-law
- An overly-specific term that would be used in place of fila-camu in normal speech only in a case where one wanted to specify that the relative in question was married to one’s son rather than one’s daughter. There are additionally even more specific terms such as filotca-caminu ‘son’s wife’ and filotca-camotcu ‘son’s husband’ which are usually reserved for legal documents or other language that needs to be very precise.
