Determiners, which consist of demonstratives and other words which serve to distinguish a referent in a noun phrase, are considered to be a type of adjective, though unlike other adjectives, determiners precede the noun they modify. Sometimes numbers are taken to be a subset of determiners. Determiners take the form (CV)Ca.
