Usage Notes
A prefix added to a noun to categorize it as sacred. Note: With few exceptions noted in the lexicon, this should not be used with any noun containing an unvoiced consonant. The final -a- is elided before a vowel. This becomes a suffix (-(a)bara) on nouns that are explicitly marked as feminine with an affix.
